English-speaking Life Coach in Madrid
Originally from the UK, I've called Madrid home since 2008 when I moved here with PwC to learn Spanish. Since then, I’ve built a successful translation business, married a Spaniard and become mum to two amazing daughters, now aged 5 and 3.
In 2022, I swapped my documents for people and retrained as a life coach after years of feeling the pull towards this path. I gained my ICF ACC accreditation in February 2025 and now work with ambitious professionals who want to make meaningful changes in their careers and lives.
Coaching allows me to do purposeful work that challenges me intellectually. It is a privilege to create space for the kind of thinking that rarely happens in the rush of everyday life—so clients can hear themselves more clearly and make deliberate, informed choices.
I specialise in providing 1:1 support to:
- individuals exploring a career transition, change of role or promotion;
- busy professionals seeking time to think strategically about their roles and their goals with the support and challenge of a trusted, impartial sounding board;
- accompanying partners on international assignments looking to redefine their purpose and find a sense of belonging; and
- women returning to work after a period of extended leave (to raise children, care for relatives, due to illness etc.).
I work in English and Spanish, in person (central Madrid) and online. I’m an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation). I'm also a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and I hold a degree in Economics and Management from St Anne’s College, University of Oxford (1999-2002).
I love to travel - I've visited more than 55 countries and my favourites include New Zealand, India and, of course, my beloved Spain, which never ceases to surprise me. I also enjoy cooking, hiking, reading and working out at the gym. My guilty pleasures include twixes and vermouth, although preferably not together.
